Miles

I'm happy to report that Miles and I have really been getting along lately.  We're trying to be kinder and more patient with each other, and we're sharing our space and respecting each other's boundaries. 

Here is Miles with his best friends, the Lillis boys.

Right now Miles is addicted to watching Thomas the Train.  All day long it's, "Mommy, I watch Thomas now?" Pretty cute, but a girl can only take so much of a train that describes himself as "cheeky".  And he loves to put together his train track and then place his train in rather precarious situations.  You can see in this photo the train is about to fall off the track and he's actually cheering it on.

I started a blog!

This is my very first blog entry and I'm very excited about it.  My goal here is to preserve my daily activities and married life.  You know, everything: life as a mother, all the ups and downs and boredom and daily grind and the laughter too.  Sort of a daily journal. 

So here's a photo of me, and my husband, Big Daddy. 
I've always wanted a Big Daddy of my very own ever since I saw Elizabeth Taylor in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.  And although I'm nothing like Liz, and not a rich, spoiled, Southern girl, I borrowed the idea anyway.
